Established in 1986, Denbies Wine Estate is one of England’s largest single estate vineyard and the country’s premier wine visitor centre. Nestled in the heart of the Surrey Hills National Landscape, an area of outstanding natural beauty, Denbies’ estate covers 400 acres of rolling hills and offers captivating views over the North Downs.
Denbies produces a wide range of award-winning English still and sparkling wines. A pioneer in English viticulture and a local centre of excellence for winemaking in the South of England, Denbies has won numerous national and international awards for its wines.
Open year round, Denbies offers a unique programme of vineyard tours, winery visits and tastings.
The 350,000 visitors who visit Denbies every year are free to walk around the vineyard and explore the 400 acres that are devoted to nature and local wildlife. Denbies prides itself on maintaining the highest environmental standards across the entire estate. The team work closely with national and local conservation bodies to promote the areas natural inhabitants, trees and plants. Wildflowers are encouraged in some parts of the vineyard, while Denbies has also engaged in tree-planting schemes, bee-keeping and bat conservation.
