Founded in 2013 in Scotland, Intelligent Growth Solutions (IGS) manufactures world-leading vertical farming technology. The company set out to address challenges faced by growers across the world (such as extreme weather, labour shortages, and the impact of pests and disease) using a blend of science and engineering expertise.
IGS is currently deploying vertical farming technology across multiple continents, working closely with growers so they can produce consistently high-quality plants, regardless of external weather conditions. This takes the form of close-knit partnerships, working with growers from the very first stages of a project’s conception, through to ongoing software development and ensuring they are armed with all the tools they need to succeed. IGS enables growers to produce plants sustainably, through scalable, modular technology that can flex to meet customer site requirements, from a smaller number of towers through to a high-output GigaFarm.
