Purpose Social Homes is a demand-led, purpose-driven organisation dedicated to empowering and supporting individuals with learning disabilities, and/or autism, and/or physical disabilities. Our core aims are articulated by our vision being “a valuable contribution to society” and our mission of “raising the quality bar of Specialised Supported Housing”.
There is a shortage of Specialised Supported Housing (SSH) in England, leaving many individuals with profound disabilities without appropriate accommodation. Financial constraints have hindered NHS, Local Authorities and Registered Housing Providers from meeting current demand, leading to higher hospitalisation rates, increased reliance on institutional services, and reduced quality of life for vulnerable adults.
We specialise in developing sustainable housing with bespoke internal and external environments that cater to the unique needs of these vulnerable individuals, enabling them to live independent and fulfilling lives within their communities. Our collaborative and person-centred approach addresses the specific needs of Residents, NHS Integrated Care Boards, Local Authority Commissioners, Support providers and Funders/Private Investors who ultimately bridge the funding gap in the Specialised Supported Housing Sector.
