Native Oregonians Tony and Michelle Soter established Soter Vineyards in 1997 following Tony’s distinguished career as consulting winemaker, organic farmer, and founder of Etude in Napa, CA. Today, the winery and tasting room are located on the CCOF and Demeter Certified 240-acre Mineral Springs Ranch, a diverse haven for food and wine located in the heart of Oregon wine country. From vineyard to cellar, Soter Vineyards is committed to organic and biodynamic farming practices and light-handed cellar techniques to craft true expressions of Pinot Noir, Chardonnay, and sparkling wines. Winemaker Chris Fladwood produces wines of the highest caliber in a way that treads softly on the earth yet pushes the boundaries of innovation, allowing a unique voice to emerge from their ancient soils and temperate climate. Guests at Mineral Springs Ranch partake in an elevated, authentic hospitality experience driven by a creative and nourishing culinary program that matches the ethos of Soter’s farming practices. In addition to MSR, Soter owns and farms several other vineyard sites within the Northern Willamette Valley that together showcase some of the best terroir in Oregon. Together with their estate grown wines, they produce select bottlings under their Origin Series, and Planet Oregon.
