Sycamore Gap

Alongside Hadrian’s wall dating back to Roman times, the Sycamore Gap grows on the border of England & Scotland in a bottom of dip location.

This Sycamore (Acer pseudoplatanus) is reckoned to be a few hundred years old & was featured in the Kevin Costner movie, Robin Hood Prince of Thieves.
